Welcome to the Annual Caribbean Carnival of Manchester website.
We want to dedicate this years Carnival to the celebration of the 40th year Independence of Grenada also know as the Isle of Spice, www.gov.gd and also pay tribute to the loss of a very big iconic figure the late Great Nelson Mandela who lost his battle for life on the 5th Dec 2013.

There will be a wide range of activities from arts, poetry, face painting a funfair and much more. Lets not forget the many musical tents featuring Peace Fm 90.1fm, InnaDeep/Community, Oldskool throwback, African corner and Classique. Not forgetting to mention our famous Calypso Tent and as a treat this year CCOM will be hosting a Latin quarter run by the Manchester School of samba adding spice with world famous DJ’s and a samba band from Manchester.
In addition to the usual carnival festivities there will also be Street Athletics hosted by MCC Leisure services bringing the excitement of sport to local and national athletes who want to participate.
As you can see Manchester’s Caribbean Carnival is a family friendly event where all ethnicities can come together and take a look into the Caribbean culture….
